Most California high schools, including districts across San Diego and the Bay Area, teach the Integrated Math pathway (often just called "Math 1, 2, and 3") instead of the traditional Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 sequence. Each course blends algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics, so students juggle several strands of math at once.
That integration is powerful, but it also means gaps hide easily: a shaky grasp of functions in Integrated Math 1 quietly resurfaces in Math 2 and 3. Our tutors pinpoint exactly where the disconnect is, rebuild the underlying concepts, and show students how the strands fit together, so every new unit builds on solid ground.
Serving students across the Denver metro, from Cherry Creek, Littleton, and Highlands Ranch to CU Denver and local colleges.
Meet Our Denver Tutors
We know the Integrated Math 1–3 scope and sequence cold, so sessions match what your student is actually seeing in class, standard or honors/advanced.
Algebra, geometry, and statistics show up side by side in integrated math. We tie them together so students see one coherent subject instead of a pile of disconnected topics.
Our math tutors are experienced educators with deep math backgrounds, rigorously vetted for both subject mastery and the ability to explain it clearly.
A solid foundation in Integrated Math sets students up for pre-calculus, calculus, and the SAT/ACT. We build understanding that lasts well beyond the next test.
Every level, from middle school through advanced college courses.
Marguerite was kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. Our daughter feels she can now trust her teacher to learn the math she needs. We are thankful to have met her on our journey.
A belated thank you to Liz for a semester of math tutoring. She essentially taught all of Algebra Honors II. My child received an A in the class and scored in the 99th percentile of the PSAT. We could not have done it without your kindness and teaching skills!
High Performance Tutoring was the best thing we've discovered in recent years. Our son got the support he needed for AP Physics and Calculus, and it gave him the confidence to pursue engineering in college.
Our family reached out after noticing a drop in our daughter's math grade. The sessions were easy to set up and the tutors were efficient and knowledgeable. We saw an immediate result in her confidence and grade. Would highly recommend for math tutoring.
My daughter benefited from Victor's tutoring in Compacted Integrated Math III / Pre-Calculus, and we're signing her up again for AP Calculus next year. He is patient, flexible, and very knowledgeable. We recommend High Performance Tutoring.
I used High Performance Tutoring over a 5-week period during my preparation for the GMAT. Despite the short timeframe, we were able to hit my target score and I got accepted to the Booth School of Business in Chicago!
My daughter has nothing but wonderful things to say about Victor. He is patient and really helps her understand what she is learning in class. Worth every penny!
After her tutoring sessions with Sam, Ava comes home feeling so confident and relieved. His explanations are clear and build on the next chapters. Highly recommend!
High Performance did a wonderful job tutoring my grade-school child in math. They assigned a patient, skilled tutor who immediately connected with my child. In the end, my child's confidence and math knowledge were demonstrably improved. The whole process was simple and flexible with in-home and remote options.
High Performance Tutoring is the best tutoring service in Salt Lake City! After trying several others, including resources at my university, I finally had great success. We'd work through my huge list of problems at a pace where I retained everything. I recommended them to my roommate, who loved it too.
My 7th-grade son thoroughly enjoyed working with Christian! He was extremely knowledgeable and tailored the sessions to my son's needs. I highly recommend High Performance Tutoring to anyone who wants very qualified tutors for their kids.
I had an advanced statistics class my last semester of college that I was really struggling in, and it was stressing me out. Once I got a tutor, my husband said I was like a new person. I finally understood the content and did really well, I passed with a B+ when I think I would have flunked otherwise.
