Science and teaching has been my passion for many years, and I love helping students discover why it's so fascinating. I earned my B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis, and I especially enjoy teaching life science and chemistry. My approach is built on flexibility. There are many ways to understand a topic, and I believe the explanation should adapt to the student, not the other way around. If one method doesn't click, we'll try another until it does, so every student can learn in a way that works best for them. I've tutored from my home for over six years, and I've also taught BLS and resuscitation medicine to adults at Stanford Children's. That range of experience has given me an understanding of how science is applied in the real world, and I bring those practical connections into my lessons to make concepts more meaningful and memorable.
