Tutoring starts at only $60/hour! Your exact rate depends on a few things: whether you meet online or in-person, whether it's an academic subject or SAT/ACT test prep, which tutor you work with (some cost more than others), and whether you pay as you go or buy a package, bulk hours come at a discount. After your free first hour we'll put together a plan that fits your goals and budget. Your first session is free! After that, we keep a credit card on file and charge it as each session is completed, with no large upfront payment and no long-term contract. If you'd like to save, our academic tutoring offers a discounted 10-hour Honor Roll package, and our SAT and ACT prep is sold in packages of 12, 24, or 48 hours, with a lower per-hour rate the more hours you buy. For SAT and ACT prep you can also spread the cost over 12 months with our financing option through Affirm.

You choose what's most convenient for in-person sessions, your home, a local library, or a coffee shop, at the same price either way. We tutor throughout the greater San Diego area, and online anywhere in the U.S. Once you're matched, you and your tutor settle on a regular spot that works for you both.

We cover math from middle school through advanced college courses, the sciences (physics, chemistry, and biology), statistics, computer science, and SAT, ACT, and PSAT prep. Many of our tutors also help with the GRE, GMAT, and MCAT. Just ask about your specific subject or test, chances are we have a tutor for it.

Yes! It's our most popular option. We meet on Zoom or Google Meet in an interactive video classroom that's every bit as personalized as meeting in person, and it's typically more cost-effective. It also opens up our entire national network of tutors instead of limiting you to who's nearby, so you get the best possible match for your subject and goals, from anywhere in the U.S.

We hire only the top 5% of tutor applicants and train them to become High Performance Certified, vetted for subject mastery, teaching ability, and personality. And unlike companies that just hand you a name from a directory, our tutors work as a team: they share notes and coordinate behind the scenes, so switching tutors or getting help across multiple subjects stays seamless. For most students who complete our program, SAT scores typically improve 150–300 points and ACT scores 3–7 points, and those are typical ranges, not a ceiling: our best students have gained 300+ points on the SAT and 7+ on the ACT. Results aren't guaranteed; the single biggest factor is the effort you put in between sessions, and our personalized approach is built to maximize every point.

Absolutely! We understand that life happens. We only ask for 6 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session, which is far more generous than the 24-hour policy most tutoring companies require. Just contact us and we'll find a new time that works. You can also log in to your account and reschedule or cancel a session there. You have complete control over your schedule.
