Bio

Hi there! I am currently a premed student at the University of California, Berkeley, and am pursuing a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology (Genetics, Genomics, and Development). I have experience tutoring middle school students in science and mathematics, and have also spent many years teaching children and adults to ride horses. Though of course horseback riding is a far cry from math or chemistry, the idea behind the teaching is the same — to help students experience the satisfaction of understanding something they previously found difficult, to guide them in developing the skills needed to tackle new problems, and, most importantly, to build their confidence in their own abilities.
