Bio: I have a master's degree in Mathematics Education from CSU Chico, as well as bachelor's degrees in applied math and physics from UC Berkeley. For four years I taught mathematics at CSU Chico to students of a wide range of skill levels, and I tutored math for 5 years prior to this. I truly believe that doing well in mathematics is a skill that anyone can learn, and my favorite thing about tutoring is seeing my students become confident in their own mathematical ability. When tutoring, my philosophy is to listen carefully to ideas my students’ already have and help them build from these ideas to a complete understanding.
